A Computer and Communications Engineer by education, Michel started his career in Oil and Gas where he spent 11 years in different field, engineering and management positions with a fortune 100 company. He had the privilege to lead teams both locally in Canada and internationally such as in the USA, Middle East and Africa. He lead teams of different nationalities, cultures, educational and professional backgrounds, and ranging in size from 10 to 100+ people and is familiar with the challenges that come with it.
In Calgary, Michel managed a local business through tough economic times turning it into a profitable business for the shareholders. This breadth of exposure to both business and operation management adds invaluable perspective to the classroom.
Michel brings years of training and coaching experience loaded with first hand exposure to real life challenges that face office and field workers being on the frontline or members of the management team. His training is practical and has direct impacts on teams’ efficiency and harmony.
